This is my first tattoo. It’s a traditional Thai or Khmer tattoo also called Sak Yants. Ancient warriors who had those tattoos were considered untouchable because of the magical powers those tattoos gave. This one in particular represents power, explosiveness and authority. Angelina Jolie also has Sak Yants on here back of course with a different meaning. Although those design are almost always the same (language may differ from region) I feel kind of honored that thousands of years ago there were people running around with the same design. Aerial is a new site-specific installation by Baptiste Debombourg at an old Benedictine monastery called Brauweiler Abbey near Cologne, Germany. Debombourg used numerous sheets of shattered laminate glass to mimic a frothy flood of water rushing into a room.
